Dr. Lapalme grew up in a small town in the Sudbury area and had a childhood dream of becoming a doctor. First she became a Dental Hygienist and worked for 11 years only to realize the passion she had for dentistry. In 2010 she graduated from Université de Montréal and has been working as a dentist since. She runs 2 dental offices and enjoys serving both clinics. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and three fur babies, travelling, fitness, yoga and wellness.
MEMBERSHIPS AND SOCIETIES
Dr Lapalme maintains active memberships in her dental associations such as the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association and the Sudbury Dental Association.
She is part of the On-call Emergency Dental Services of Sudbury.
She is President of the Advisory Comity for the Dental Hygiene Program at Collège Boréal where she also teaches part-time.
PHILANTHROPY
What drives Dr Lapalme is making a difference in people’s lives. She has been on numerous humanitarian missions and she loves to see the smile on people’s faces. Cape Cares, Flying Doctors of America and International Medical Relief are some of the agencies she has travelled with. She has come to realize that by helping others, we receive so much more in return!
She also donates to several charities every year and offers a Free Dental Day to the people in need.

Lise finds it a pleasure to work with such an amazing dental team who are all caring, collaborative and supportive. She states the office feels like family and the atmosphere makes it a great place to work! Her leisure time is mainly spent outdoors either fishing or camping. She also loves to travel and has much affection for all animals.
Desiree is bilingual and was raised in the Sudbury area. She started her dental career in 2007 as a Dental Assistant and became a Dental Hygienist in 2010. Desiree loves getting to know her patients and building long term relationships. When she is not in the office, you can find her exploring the great outdoors with her 4 boys at the arena.

Outside of the office, Christine enjoys spending time with family, friends and her pets. She also enjoys power sports and time in the outdoors.

Rachel states that it’s the personal connections with staff and clients that make going to work feel like coming home.
