Teeth whitening is a very easy and common technique to improve the look of your smile! Overtime teeth can get stained by coffee, tea, wine, tobacco and more. A whitening treatment will help get rid of any discoloration and give you a whiter and brighter smile!
Dr. Lapalme offers two types of whitening treatments.
1) A take home whitening system
2) An in-office whitening system
1) If you opt for the at-home whitening system, we would start by making you custom whitening trays by taking upper and lower impressions of your teeth. We would then fabricate your trays and send you home with your customized whitening kit and detailed instructions. This whitening system will have you seeing noticeable results within two weeks!
2) If you decide to whiten with our in-office treatment, we would apply a whitening solution directly on your teeth and shine a special blue LED light which will activate the solution to provide you with a visibly whiter smile in just one hour!
Prices:
Take home whitening: $350.00
In-office whitening: $475.00
Bonding is another cosmetic service that Dr. Lapalme provides to help improve the color and esthetics of your teeth. Bonding allows us to repair chips, close up unwanted gaps, improve the color and shape of your teeth, giving a more uniform appearance to your smile.
Bonding is done by using composite (tooth-colored) filling material. Dr. Lapalme would use this material to reshape, resize and improve the shade of your teeth to help enhance your smile! This procedure is also reversible, meaning that it does not require any significant removal of your enamel and does not damage your natural teeth!
Porcelain veneers are another cosmetic procedure we provide to improve esthetics. Porcelain veneers are custom-made thin shells that are catered specifically to you. These shells adhere to the front of your teeth. They help hide cosmetic imperfections such as discoloration, chipped, cracked, uneven or irregularly shaped teeth. To place these types of veneers, we must slightly shave down the enamel in order to cement the veneers in place. Since some of your enamel will be shaved down, this procedure is considered irreversible.
